Definition
Indicates the role set for the application.
Use
Role sets bundle the business partner roles for an application that can be used in Total Commitment according to business criteria, and make it easier for you to assign roles to selection variants.
Dependencies
You can define role sets and assign them to selection variants in Customizing for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services, under Settings for Financial Services -> Tools -> Total Commitment -> Make Settings for Total Commitment.
Together with business partner relationships, the business partner roles in the application that can be used in Total Commitment represent a criterion for determining the total commitment.
Example
You create different selection variants for Total Commitment. You also want to use the business partner roles account holder, card holder and account pool holder together in one role set. By defining a role set, you no longer need to assign individual business partner roles to the selection variants. You can assign a role set to the relevant selection variants with the roles that are always used together in the corresponding selection variants.
