Documentation

Definition

Stipulates that the budget subtype is entered at line item level in all budget entry transactions. When entering the budget using the hierarchy transaction (also the planning transaction for German customers), the budget subtype cannot be entered at line level.

Use

If you set this indicator for a budget type, you can enter different budget subtypes in the individual document line items when you are entering budget. Take note that budget transfers where the budget subtypes differ for sender and receiver are only permitted if the settings correspond for the sender and receiver budget subtypes (such as revenues increasing the budget check).

If you do not set this indicator, the budget subtype is entered in the initial screen.
