Definition

Use

Ensures that messages from the availability control are ignored. If you are working with releases and want to either reduce these releases generally or block them locally and budget was already assigned to individual FM account assignments, it is possible that the system will terminate processing due to error messages from the availability control.

If you select this field, you can reduce and/or locally block releases irrespective of how much budget is available on an FM account assignment. This means that it is possible to exceed the available budget and the availability control will not issue a message about the error. The block and/or reduction of the release can be no more than the maximum amount of the release.

Dependencies

Note:
If you want to ignore the messages from the availability control when reducing releases and/or when entering local blocks, errors may occur in future postings because the budget is already consumed. SAP therefore recommends that you use program Reconstruct Assigned to display possible overruns of the budget and correct them with a corresponding increase of releases and/or reduction of local block.

Example

The following values exist on an FM account assignment:

Current budget:    100

Release:    80%

Consumable Budget:    50

If you want to deduce a 100 percent budget block in this situation using the collective block, you must select the field Ignore Messages from Availability Control so that the system does not terminate processing.
