Definition
Links basic lines and alternative lines in order to groups together a basic execution and the appropriate alternative executions.
Use
The supplier offers the basic execution and all the alternative executions. The sold-to party generally decides on which type of execution to take from the order placement.
Dependencies
Several service lines can be grouped together to form a basic execution for which there can be one or more alternatives. You mark these service lines as basic lines. Likewise, an alternative to a basic execution can contain several service lines. You mark these service lines as alternative lines. An alternative line has to link to the appropriate basic line.
Every execution and alternative execution is given a unique assignment number. This is built from the group number and the Sequence Number.
