Definition
Costs for which a realization of the project is expected.
Use
The target costs are transferred to the WBS elements as planned values when the costs are transfered to the project.
Dependencies
The total target costs are calculated from the sum of the variable target costs and the fixed target costs.
The variable target costs are calculated from the basic costs taking further additions and deductions into account.
The system calculates the total target costs from the sum of the fixed target costs and the variable target costs. These are the result of the sum of target price multiplied by the target quantity and the costs of further additions and deductions (as value or percentage). The target quantity is calculated from the sum of the basic quantity and the additions or deductions (as value or percentage) on this basic quantity. The target price is calculated from the sum of the total basic price and the additions/ deductions (as value or percentage) on this basic price.
Total target costs = fixed target costs + (basic price + additions/deductions on the basic price) x (basic quantity + additions/deductions on the basic quantity)
