Definition

Number of an issue document (warehouse order or sales order) in a distribtion. The document is uniquely identified as a result of the issue document category and the document number.

Use

An issue document is used by a DC to supply a recipient (a store or a customer). In Merchandise Distribution it is viewed as a request for merchandise that is covered by a procurement document.

An issue document can be created by a recipient, for example, or as a follow-on document to an allocation table.
