Definition

The BIC+KEY is an eight-character character string, which is made up of the two-character ISO code of the relevant country and a six-character sequential number.

Select this field if you wish to use the BIC+KEY as the bank key. The relevant data is also entered in the bank number field and the SWIFT code field in the bank master data, if this data is contained in the imported file. If you wish to use the BIC+KEY as the bank key, you must have entered the value 4 (external assignment) for the bank key in the country table. Check the Customizing settings for the countries whose bank data is to be imported.
