This parameter specifies whether the application of a unit is compressed before it is saved to the database.

Use

If this field is selected, the data is saved in compressed format. If this field is not selected, the data is saved in non-compressed format.

We recommend compression of the data to reduce the load on the network connections and the database. Slightly more resources are needed, however, during the compression and decompression processes.
