Definition

This indicator means that a batch classification is checked and executed in the foreground for the goods receipt (output batch) during a backflush.

Use

If the indicator is set, and depending on the settings for batch classification in the movement type, the dialog for the batch classification is called after the start of the backflush. The necessary characteristic values can be assigned to the batch. All further functions of batch classification are also available.

If the indicator is not set, only one automatic batch classification can be executed in the background during the backflush. Settings in the movement type for the classification in the dialog are not considered. The backflush behaves in the same way as it does in releases that do not have this indicator (before 4.7).

Dependencies

Posting the classification to the database takes place when the backflush is posted. If the backflush is terminated, the classification is also lost.

Example

In movement type 131, the setting "Batch classification is always called in the foreground" is active for the field "Batch Classification".

If the indicator is set, the classification dialog is called during the backflush.

If the indicator is not set, no classification dialog is called during the backflush. The batch remains unclassified, despite the goods receipt that took place. The classification must be performed separately afterwards.
