Documentation
Definition
The system stores the reference date of the posting that leads to asset being capitalized.
Use
The capitalization date is the value date of an asset. Althought it can be entered manually when creating an assets master record, this does not lead to the asset being capitalized. Instead, this date is merely defaulted by the system as a reference date when the first acquisition posting is made.
