Documentation
Definition
Delivery rounds are defined for the whole system. They represent the schedule for a delivery from a logistics point of view.
Some carrier routes are covered and some unloading points supplied several times a day. This is indicated by a delivery round.
Example:
- Delivery in the morning with the morning round
- At midday by the midday round
- In the evening with the evening round
This means the morning round could also be delivered by a carrier for daily newspapers. The same carrier route is served again in the afternoon, when a free sheet is distributed.

Use
If dealing with a delivery viability set for a geographical unit, you must also specify a delivery round. In this case, the delivery round defines the time at which the products leave the plant, i.e. together with the deliveries for the delivery round specified.
