This route unit is used as a superior route in the route-route assignment displayed. This means that the area it covers is the total of the areas covered by the routes assigned to it.
According to the semantics of route structures, superior routes can only be insert zones and they can only be assigned carrier routes.
This means that the insert zone can only be made up of carrier routes and cannot be set up by assigning geographical units explicitly.
