Definition
A four-character identifier for the benefit plan.

Procedure
To record a QDRO for the selected beneficiary, enter the four-character identifier for the corresponding benefit plan in this field, then the amount of the order and its basis at right. Then, select Save.
To delete a QDRO for the selected beneficiary, simply delete the four-character identifier in this field. Then, select Save.
Note
QDRO beneficiaries are allowed a maximum of one award per benefit plan. Consequently, Infotype 0566 will not process multiple award amounts under the same plan for the same beneficiary.
Example
Pat Baker is a QDRO beneficiary who is awarded a lump sum payment of $5,000 under benefit plan 401K. At a later date, the presiding court awards Pat an additional $2,500 lump sum payment under the same plan.
In this case, Infotype 0566 will not accommodate two separate entries for Pat under plan 401K. To process Pat's total benefit, you would:
- Select the Inactive checkbox on Pat's current record.
- Create a new record for Pat in Infotype 0566.
- Make the following entries in this new record:
- 401K (under Plan).
- 7500 (under Amount).
- Lump Sum (under Basis).
