Definition

This is the date on which the employee is eligible for the benefit plan.

It is calculated according to the eligibility rule variant associated with the plan.

The date in this field cannot be changed, but can be overridden on the infotype record using the eligibility override field.

Note

If you create an infotype by hand, this field is automatically filled with the eligibility date, if the employee is eligible for the plan. If the employee is NOT eligible for the plan, the system leaves this field blank and still allows you to create the infotype record.
