Definition
The 'From' field enables you to determine the valid from date of the record created via batch input. All of the garnishment records are selected which are valid as of the date specified in this field.
Please ensure that the 'From' date is not in the payroll past, as batch input processing would otherwise be cancelled and an error message displayed (accounting already performed for period xx yyyy ...).
Example
You want to delimit all of a garnishment's records because it has been repaid.
Validity of old record: 01.01.1990 - 31.12.9999
Enter 01.01.1996 in the 'From' field, which leads to the following result once batch input processing has finished:
Validity of delimited record: 01.01.1990 - 31.12.1995
In other words, you have deleted the record from 01.01.1996 - 31.12.9999
