Documentation
Definition
The requirements type represents a section from the calendar for which a certain requirement is to be defined. You can create requirements for different time periods by using requirements types.
Example
The personnel requirements of a particular enterprise vary each day of the week.
The following number of employees should be scheduled:
Monday through Thursday = 5 employees each day
Fridays = 7 employees
Saturdays = 9 employees
To create personnel requirements which differ, select the following requirements types:
Requirements on weekdays
Requirements on Fridays
Requirements on Saturdays
Additional Information
You can define a time segment that is already a part of a subordinated time segment as an independent requirements type. For example, if you want to assign requirements records to the Requirements on weekdays requirement type but Monday requires a different requirements record. You select the Requirements on weekdays and Requirements on Mondays requirements types and assign the desired requirements records to them. In the shift plan, Mondays then have the Requirements on Mondays requirements type which overwrites the Requirements on workdays requirements type for this day.
