Documentation
Definition
You use this flag to specify whether or not the mail being sent is to be signed.
Use
The sending application usually defines whether or not the mail is to be signed. If the sending is taking place in dialog, the send screen enables you to change the signature setting chosen by the application on the "Send Options" tab.
For the short message, you can specify the default value for the signature yourself. To do this, under System -> User Profile -> Own Data add the set/get parameter BCSSIGN on the "Parameters" tab strip, using the input help. Valid values here are 'X' for "Sign" and ' ' for "No Signature". In the short message, you can change this value again for the mail that is currently being sent.
Dependencies
If the mail cannot be signed, the mail sending process is canceled and an error status is output.
