Definition

Specifies the maximum quantity of numbers in a range that the system assigns for each application.

Use

If you have executed the Customizing activity Define Scope, Category, Mode, and Number Assignment, the system can execute totals postings for this application in parallel.

If you have also selected the Optimize Totals Posting checkbox, in the Customizing activity Make Settings for Number Assignment, you can increase the performance of parallel processing.
