Documentation
Definition
Maximum value that the total of all unplanned services (or the value of the material) may not exceed for this item.
Use
Limits can be used in service items and items from blanket purchase orders.
When performed services are recorded in entry sheets (or at the time of goods receipt in the case of materials), the system checks the values entered for adherence to this maximum value. An appropriate message is issued if the overall limit is exceeded.
Dependencies
If sub-limits were set within the overall limit for an item, the system checks whether both the individual limits and the overall limit were adhered to at the time of each service entry (or goods receipt).
If a limit is exceeded, the system issues a message accordingly.
