Definition
If quantities from past logistics transactions appear in the assortment list (for example old purchase orders), the past period limits the number of days for which you search for the affected material in documents. This prevents documents that are too old from being read (important for performance).
This field is irrelevant for planned quantities such as those in the allocation table.
Example
Only old purchase orders from the last 14 days should be read.
