Definition
Date as of which the change state you selected is valid.
It is identical to the valid-from date of the change number that was used to create the change state (see change number).
Exception:
If you create a formula or object of a formula without a change number, the valid-from date of the first change state is identical to the key date entered.
Use
Dependencies
Formulas are made up of several change objects (such as formula header, material items, and substance items) that all have their own change states. When you use a change number to change a formula, the system only creates a new change state for the objects you changed and for the formula header.
The change states of different objects can therefore have different change numbers and validity periods. In the validity period of a change state of the formula header, however, there is always exactly one change state for each object.
