Procedure
Creating a Business Partner
Depending on the type of the number assignment, the business partner number can either be assigned automatically by the R/3 system or you can enter this manually. It is also possible to use the number from an external system.
The grouping that has been selected is decisive for the number assignment. Via the number range this determines:
- Whether the business partner number is assigned automatically or manually
- The interval within which the number must lie
