Documentation
Definition
Specifies the call context that you can select when you want to access Total Commitment.
Use
You can call Total Commitment either by using a call context or a selection variant. Similar to the selection variant, the call context controls the selection and display of contract data in Total Commitment. You can use call contexts for applications from within which you can call Total Commitment directly.
Dependencies
If you enter a selection variant when you access Total Commitment, you override the selection of a call context.
You can define call contexts and assign them to selection variants in Customizing for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services, under Settings for Financial Services -> Tools -> Total Commitment -> Make Settings for Total Commitment.
Example
You do not want to call Total Commitment from Business Partner Processing, but directly from Loans Management instead. In order to call it from this context, you define an additional call context in the customer namespace.
