Definition

Indicates whether the business partner is authorized to invest in restricted assets with certain banks according to paragraph 2 section 1 number 18b of the German Asset Regulation (regulation concerning the investment of restricted assets of insurance companies).

Banks considered suitable are those with a registered office in a state belonging to the European Economic Area that are subject to the Requirements of the European Parliament and European Council regarding the establishment and practice of banking activities. Furthermore, they must provide insurers with written assurances that they comply with the regulations regarding equity capital and liquidity for banks that are applicable in the state in which their registered office is based.
