Definition
Indicates the four-digit numeric code that forms part of the country indicator in the country directory for the foreign trade statistics of the Federal Republic of Germany. The country indicator is assigned by the German Federal Statistics Office and is used to differentiate between countries. It is also used to differentiate between international organizations.
Use
The numeric code is used in all Foreign Trade and Payments Ordinance reports to the German Federal Bank.
Dependencies
Incoming and outgoing payments from/to international organizations that exclusively, or predominantly, incorporate state agencies of at least two countries, are not identified by the respective sovereign of incorporation, but by an indicator which represents the actual name of the organization.
You can set the country indicator in Customizing for the SAP Business Partner for Financial Services in the IMG activity Define Country Indicators in Accordance with German Federal Bank by choosing Settings for Financial Services-> Settings-> Regulatory Reporting Data
