Definition

This defines the default values for the Selection Start Date and Selection End Date for change documents on the selection screen of the corresponding application.

Use

The selection period restricts the time interval from which the change documents are displayed.

Dependencies

Depending on the default values chosen for the selection period, you can overwrite the time period in the application when the change documents are displayed:

  1. No Default: If this is set, the system sets the start of the selection to the calendar date and time of the last change document. The selection end date is not defaulted. However, you can overwrite the selection period in the application to suit your requirements.
  2. Minimum Maximum Value: If this is set, the system defaults the selection start date with the oldest change document and the selection end date with the most recent change document. In this way you can see immediately whether you can expect change documents in the required selection period. However, you can overwrite the selection period in the application to suit your requirements.
  3. Last Change Document: If this is set, the system sets the selection start date to the calendar date and time of the last change document. The selection end date is not defaulted. This means the system only displays the last change document. However, you can overwrite the selection period in the application to suit your requirements.
  4. Calendar Date of Last Change Document: If this is set, the system defaults the selection start date with the calendar date of the most recent change document. The system displays all change documents from changes made on this calendar date. However, you can overwrite the selection period in the application to suit your requirements.
  5. Default Selection Start Date: The system enters the selection start date in accordance with the entries in the Select Selection Period group frame. For all other selection options, the entries in this group frame are ignored.
