Documentation

Definition

The system displays the selected change documents with the selected ALV technique.

Use

You can chose one of the following techniques to display change documents:

  • ALV tree
  • ALV grid
  • Dynamic selection

Dependencies

Note 1020773 says that the ALV tree cannot handle large amounts of data volume and

that with more than 3000 nodes problems could occur.

  • ALV Tree

    Display change documents as tree

the traditional display format of the change documents is recommended only if up to 2000 nodes are expected

  • ALV Grid

    Display change documents as list,

you can display large amounts of data

  • Dynamic selection

Depending on the selection of attributes for displaying change documents, the number of nodes to be expected for display as a tree is determined. By default, the result is displayed in an ALV tree. However, if the number of nodes to be expected exceeds the maximum number of nodes, the result is displayed in an ALV grid.

In Customizing for the application, you can enter the value for the change document object, or you can use transaction BANK_CUS_CHDOC. To do so, select the required change document object and go to the Selection Criteria tab page.

By default, the ALV type is used in the dynamic selection.
