Definition
The backbilling status is set if the meter reading result or the meter reading order lies within a backbilling period.
If this is the case, you may change the meter reading result depending on the backbilling type. The following backbilling types exist:
- Floating backbilling
In floating backbilling, it is possible to change the meter reading if it lies within a backbilling period.
In this case, the backbilling status has the value '1'.
- Dynamic period control
In dynamic period control, it is also possible to change a meter reading in a backbilling period. If the meter reading reason is 09 (Interim meter reading without billing) or 10 (Control reading), you can also enter meter readings in the backbilling period. In addition, you have the option to change any or all fields that are ready for input (not only for the meter reading).
The backbilling type is specified in the rate category.
