Documentation
Definition
Date on which the document (purchase order, pricing document, etc.) was created.
Use
This date is used to limit the selection of documents that are to be processed during creation of the worklist (see example). A single date or a time interval can be entered as the validity date.
Example
The examples show the possible relationships between the validity periods of the document data and the entered validity date. In Case 2, for reasons of clarity, no actual dates are given for the validity periods of the document items.

Use
You can limit the automatic document adjustment process to documents (purchase orders, scheduling agreements, pricing documents etc.) whose date lies within a certain period.
Dependencies
With regard to purchase orders and scheduling agreements, note that the documents can subsequently be extended by the addition of new items for whose document conditions the document date may not be very meaningful.
