Definition
For the calculation of the total variances in Cost Object Accounting, this specifies that the control costs are calculated by means of simultaneous costing of the order (actual costs).
- For the calculation of the production variances, the control costs are calculated by means of simultaneous costing of the order (actual costs).
- For the calculation of the planned variances, the control costs are calculated by means of preliminary costing of the order (planned costs).
In Cost Center Accounting, variances are always calculated with reference to the actual costs of the cost center.
