Definition

Variance categories to be displayed

Use

You select the variance categories that you want to see. The following variance categories are currently available:

• Variances on the input side:
• Input price variances
• Resource-usage variances
• Input quantity variances
• Remaining input variances
• Scrap variances (only in Cost Object Controlling)

• Variances on the output side:
• Mixed price variances (only in Cost Object Controlling)
• Output price variances
• Lot size variances (Cost Object Controlling only)
• Fixed-cost variances (Cost Center Accounting only)
• Remaining variances

Dependencies

If you don't select a particular category, the variances of that category will be added to the category of remaining variances. An exception are the scrap variances. Scrap variances that are not shown as such can go into any other variance category on the input side.

If you don't select any categories, all variances will be reported as remaining variances.

If you want to calculate scrap variances, select the indicator Scrap in the variance key. The Scrap indicator in the variance key controls whether scrap variances are calculated.
