Use
The update indicator specifies the conditions under which the system overwrites a message type.
You use this transaction to generate a message type. This indicator allows the system to check for cases where a message type already exists and, if necessary, to skip them.
Procedure
- If you want any existing message type to be overwritten by a new one, set the indicator.
- If you want a message type to be created only on condition that none exists already, do not set the indicator.
