Planning memo records remain valid up to and on the expiration date. If the current date is later than the expiration date, the records are no longer included. The expiration date is only included with the memo records if you define an automatic expiration for the planning type. Otherwise, you must archive or delete the memo records so that they are no longer included in the cash management position and liquidity forecast.
If automatic expiration is defined for the planning type, you can specify the expiration date when creating a memo record. If you do not make an entry, the expiration date is set for the value date or planning date. If a record is archived this way, the expiration date is set for the date of archiving. If the record is reactivated, the expiration date is set for the value date or planning date.
If automatic expiration is not defined, the expiration date is not included. The maximum date (99991231) is then always the expiration date for activated records, and the date of archiving is then always the expiration date for archived records.
