Definition
In this parameter, you specify the payroll period after which you created the wage statement for the year before the evaluation.
For the current wage statement, retroactive accounting for the year before the period specified is taken into account. The wage statement then contains the differences between the current results (that is, results based on the 'current period') for the previous year and the results based on the period specified.
Example:
You have created the wage statement for 1999 after the January 2000 payroll run. You then enter '01' as the month of the last wage statement. The report then takes into account retroactive accounting for 1999 that took place after January 2000.
If you make no entries here, retroactive accounting from the evaluation year to the previous year is taken into account. The current payroll period for the wage statement of the previous year is December of the previous year in this case.
If you enter '12', the payroll period is also interpreted as 'December of the previous year'. This means that you cannot evaluate retroactive accounting differences for a wage statement first created in December of the subsequent year (or later).
