Definition

Field in which you enter search criteria in the form of characteristic values

Procedure

To see the values that are allowed for a characteristic, use the possible entries function. If no possible values have been defined for a characteristic or the Additional values indicator has been set, you can enter any value that is compatible with the data format of the characteristic.

You can enter one of more search criteria for a characteristic. In the find object function, the system does not check whether a characteristic has one of more values. If you enter more than one value for a characteristic, you must separate these with a semicolon (;).

For characteristics of the formats NUM, DATE, and TIME, you can also enter interval values as search criteria.
