Definition
The quantity that remains available for sale after the system has taken into account all inward and outward stock movements. This quantity is also known as the free or ATP quantity (Available To Promise).
Use
During an availability check, the system determines the ATP quantity for each material and plant. The ATP quantity forms the basis for confirming further sales order items.
