Specifies how the numerical value of a characteristic is to be displayed with an exponent.
The indicators mean the following:
0 = Display without an exponent
1 = Exponent is set automatically.
There is always one place before the decimal point.
Example: _,____E+__
2 = Display with exponent entered.
Example: _,____E+33
3 = Display in scientific format (3, 6, 9)
There are always three places before the decimal point.
Example: __,_____E+SS
