Definition

Use

This field shows you which archive file or which action a message belongs to. The field either contains the key of an Archive File or if the corresponding archive file for the message could not be found, it contains one of the following texts.

  • "Search (Definition)": The message was either generated as you were defining the search criteria or the search area, or it means that you did not sufficiently define the search criteria or the search area.
  • "Search (Process)": The message was generated during a search, but cannot be mapped directly to any archive file.
  • "Layout Administration": The message was generated while you were determining, saving or maintaining the layout (display variant) of the navigation tree.
  • "Authorization Check": The message was generated during the authorization check. These checks determine whether you are authorized to display a table or not. Authorization checks for accessing archive files (S_ARCHIVE) are assigned to the corresponding file.

If this field contains the key of an archive file, then the message pertains directly to that file. Generally these messages will deal with the accessibility of the file.
