Definition
If you choose this option, the write program of the XML archiving object is executed in the production mode. As a result, data objects are written to the XML DAS in the form of resources, based on your selection criteria and on other archiving-object-specific checks.
The statistics that are generated as a result of this mode, contain among other information, the number of archived resources.
The archived data can then be deleted from the database using the delete program of the archiving object. Depending on your customizing settings, the delete program either starts automatically or has to be started manually. If it is to start automatically, you can set an indicator that determines whether the delete program is to be executed in the test mode or in the production mode.
