Definition

If you select this checkbox, the system destroys replaced archive files from runs for ILM file conversion after the files have been converted.

Use

If you select this checkbox, the system destroys the following data for the replaced files after ILM conversion:

• Physical archive files
• Any copies of the archive files available in the file system
• File-related information in archive administration

Note that the system cannot destroy replaced archive files that are not subject to a minimum retention period that has not expired. You must wait until this minimum retention period has expired before you can destroy these files. If a minimum retention period has not been defined for replaced archive files, this period is automatically set to the date on which the files were converted. These files can then be destroyed on the following day.
