Definition

If this parameter has the default value #X#, the data records of the data object are automatically adjusted to the current structure. If, for example, changes have been made to the archive structure (type changes in fields ...) between the writing of the archive and an ILM conversion, the data record is converted according to the current structure. If the parameter is left empty, no automatic adjustment is made.

Use

Leave this parameter empty if you are in a Retention Warehouse scenario based on a pure NetWeaver system (that is, without application components).

In other cases it is advisable to leave the default value #X# since it shortens the access time, in particular for display functions from applications.
