Definition
If the value for this parameter is set to #X#, a snapshot will be generated in the ILM conversion. This applies even if the original archiving run was a complete archiving run.
Use
Leave the parameter blank if you are in the Retention Management scenario. In the Retention Management scenario, this parameter should be set to #X# when the archiving runs to be converted are complete archiving runs migrated from a legacy system and when no rules with definite values for the minimum retention period can be defined for the corresponding ILM object types. This could be the case if, for example, the data objects to be converted is data with master data character.
