Definition
You can no longer maintain application-specific messages as of Release 4.0. For messages entered earlier, the following applies:
If you have chosen reservation type F (for generated objects), you can maintain your own message.
This message then appears instead of the default message, whenever you attempt to access a protected object to make changes.
If repairs to generated objects are possible, it is advisable to add a note (besides the warning against manual changes) indicating
- the application for which the name range was reserved
- application-specific editors or repair tools
To do this, use the option available for maintaining a long text for your message.

To maintain your own message, enter the relevant message class (application area) and the message number from the message table T100.

Enter a message class that is used by the validations of this application component/time combination. It must begin with 'Z'.
