Documentation
Definition
This field contains specifications that influence the layout of the report generated by the query.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENG 0120
Use
This field allows you to determine the width of the frame around your basic list. Enter a column position indicating where the right edge of the frame should be positioned.
The frame width must lie somewhere between the width needed to display the basic list and the maximum number of characters allowed in the line (list width can be set on the screen 'Title, Format'). If your width does not adhere to these conditions, the system automatically adjusts it to fall within this interval.
Procedure
If you do not make any entry in this field, frame width is determined automatically by the system and adjusted to match any changes made. Thus, you should only enter a value for frame width if you do NOT want this width to be determined automatically.
Examples
Dependencies
The width necessary to display the list can be influenced by numerous factors. If these changes make the list text overlap the frame, the system automatically adjusts the frame width.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENG 0150
Use
Line output position of a field.
Procedure
Here, you can determine the position of the field in the output line. The first character in the line has position 1.
Examples
Dependencies
Without specifying a position, the field is always output following the preceding field or from position 1, if it is the first field of the line.
If you want to monitor precisely how the specification of a position affects your list layout, display the line structure on your screen with the Line structure function. A ruler is also available to help you specify the correct position.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENG 0180
Use
Number of columns per line.
This field determines the maximum number of characters which can be displayed on one line of the list created by the query. Lines exceeding this length cause line breaks.
Procedure
Enter the maximum length of an output line in this field.
Examples
Dependencies
Since line breaks do not apply to ranked lists and statistics, the number of columns for the entire query report can be increased automatically.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENG 1180
Use
Number of columns in table display
This field determines the maximum number of characters for the width of a table view control. You can use table view controls to display the data of single-line basic lists, statistics and rankings in a special format. Please note that this specification affects only the visible width. A table view control may contain more data columns than are visible at once.
Procedure
Use this field to specify the maximum width of a table view control.

Dependencies
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 0142
Use
Procedure
Specify the column position from which you want to display the line structure.
Examples
Dependencies
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 0150
Use
Procedure
Enter the column line as of which the line structure should be displayed.
Examples
Dependencies
The first character in a line has column position 1.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 0170
Use
Procedure
Enter the column position from which you want to display the headers and the line structure.
Examples
Dependencies
The first character in a line has the column position 1.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 0270
Use
This field determines as of which column the control level texts and the subtotals texts are displayed. A display which does not start with the first column is necessary if these texts are longer than the screen width.
Procedure
Enter the number of the column as of which the texts should be displayed.
You can choose a column between 1 and 200.
Examples
Dependencies
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 1000
Use
Specify here the column where you want the texts on the screen to start (the first column is in position 1).
Procedure
Examples
Dependencies
By entering a value between 1 and the highest possible column position, you can determine where the texts appear on the screen.
Supplementary Documentation - AQ_LLENGP 1001
Use
