Definition
This is a grouping characteristic for alternative function modules for a certain Business Transaction Event (BTE).
Use
All alternative function modules to which this grouping characteristic is assigned in one of the tables listed below can be jointly activated or deactivated with the Activate BTE Application indicator.
Dependencies
The system does not check the application indicator in the application component hierarchy. It can have any value. Namespace Eaxxxxist is reserved for SAP additional components.
Determination of the standard function modules or the alternative function modules takes place depending on the type of BTE in the OPEN_FI function module.
Only set this indicator on an alternative function module for a BTE in the following tables if the Activate Application and Country Filter indicator is set for the corresponding BTE in table TPS01 or TBE01:

Use
You can use this screen to specify an IBU by entering an identification code. It is equally possible that you choose an abstract term with which to register a particular area of the SAP R/3 System for using Open FI, or to assign it to a function module.
