Documentation
Definition
Specifies that the calculation method Total is used to calculate the result of the appraisal element.
Use
Note
You can only specify a calculation method if you have specified a scale.
The calculation using this method is performed as follows:
- Each result is multiplied by its corresponding weighting.
- These weighted results are then totaled up (regardless of the scale or unit used).
The result calculated uses the value range and units defined for the appraisal element.
Note
If you use different scales, the following situation might arise:
If the total is greater than the maximum proficiency of the scale, the result is automatically reduced to the maximum scale proficiency.
