Definition
Indicates that revenues and expenses for posting cannot be posted in the corresponding fiscal year (from a business view). This is because the posting periods of this financial year have already closed. Based on the business transaction, the indicator is set in the header as follows:
- Manually in dialog
- Automatically by the posting process
If the indicator is set, the revenues and expensed are posted to alternative accounts, provided you have specified these accounts in posting area 0140.
You store accounts for aperiodic postings in Customizing under
Konten für aperiodische Buchungen hinterlegen Sie im Customizing des Vertragskontokorrents unter Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable -> Basic Functions -> Postings and Documents -> Document -> Define Account Assignments for Automatic Postings -> Automatic G/L Account Determination -> Define Alternative Accounts for Aperiodic Postings (posting area 0140).
If the indicator is not set, theexpenses and revenues to accounts are posted to accounts that the system identifies as standard offsetting entry accounts for the business partner items.
