Use
Specifies the number of budget billing amounts for the allowable budget billing amount due date.
Here you must maintain all the permissible budget billing dates you wish to use. The combination of budget billing cycle and number of budget billing amounts must be a pair of figures, of which the product is less than or equal to the length of the billing period.
Dependencies
If you do not enter anything here, no budget billing amounts are charged.
You can only override the budget billing cycle proposed in the portion with the budget billing cycle defined in the contract if you have maintained the budget billing date.
Example
Period length: 12 months
Permissible date (cycle/no. of BB amounts): 12/1, 1/11, 2/5, 3/3, 4/2
Budget billing cycle: 2
Annual budget billing amount: $1000.00
Period start: 08/01/1999
This results in the following data in the budget billing plan:
1st budget billing plan item: $167 on 09/30/1999
2nd budget billing plan item: $167 on 11/30/1999
3rd budget billing plan item: $167 on 01/30/2000
4th budget billing plan item: $167 on 03/30/2000
5th budget billing plan item: $167 on 05/30/2000
When five budget billing plan items are distributed over a year, we assume that one budget billing plan item ($167) is included in the annual bill. This makes it easier to ensure that a receivables amount can be billed with the yearly bill.
