Documentation
Definition
A number can be specified as an alternative to an end date to specify the number of times that the placement is to be repeated.
Use
A number greater than 1 determines the number of placements in the specified booking units.
If a combined booking unit is involved, each basic booking unit in the combined booking unit is booked according to the number in this field.
If several booking units are assigned to the item, each booking unit is booked according to the number in this field.
In the case of a fixed date combination, where various issue variant types are combined, a search will be made, according to the values in this field, for the next issues with this issue variant type.
Examples
You can place an ad 5 times, in every Monday issue from a certain date onwards. You only need to specify the start date of the first placement. Enter 5 in the number field and choose 'Every week' as the period unit.
The system then automatically determines the first 5 publication dates from the "From" date onwards on which the Monday issue is published (or more precisely, the publication dates of the reference editions for the respective booking unit in the Monday variant). This may not necessarily be the next 5 Mondays, since the Monday issue can also be published on other weekdays as a result of public holidays. If public holidays mean that no Monday issues are published during the specified period, the system informs the user that not all of the dates required could be booked. More detailed information can be displayed in the generation log.
