Definition
Specify how the method is started after monitor tree elements (MTEs) in the monitor tree are selected.
Each individual MTE: Select this option for most analysis and auto-reaction methods. In this operating mode, the method is only started for a single monitor tree element or single alert.
Example: A user select several alerts in the alert browser and activates the analysis method. This method is only started for the alert which the cursor is currently on (or for the first alert selected in the list, if the cursor was moved). Other selected alerts are ignored.
Table of several MTEs: Select this option for the collection method or for other methods that can be started for multiple MTEs or alerts at one time.
Example: A number of different monitor attributes for host system performance use one data collection method. This method can be started for all attributes at one time, instead of having to start the method separately for each monitoring attribute. For these types of tools choose Table of several MTEs.
